A containment catastrophe turns that workplace into a sealed disaster site. You are injured, Jonah can still search, and ordinary concerns become urgent: what is left to eat, where it is safe to go, and whether anyone will come back.
SITE BURIAL keeps its focus close to the survivors. Instead of freely exploring a map, you learn about the surrounding rooms through the story, conversations, and the searches you choose.
The creators cite SCP among their inspirations. If you enjoy stories about strange research facilities and dangerous containment procedures, that influence may feel familiar. You do not need knowledge of SCP to follow SITE BURIAL.
What is the Site Burial Protocol?
The title points to the Institute’s response to an emergency it can no longer control. Learning what that response means for the people inside is part of SITE BURIAL’s opening.

Protocol B-12 buries the facility beneath ordinary and anomalous material, isolating the surface from what remains underground. Containment takes priority even while people are still inside.
For the survivors of SITE BURIAL, the organization’s last line of defense is also the reason escape seems so remote. The procedures designed to protect the outside world have left them behind.
How SITE BURIAL choices work.
SITE BURIAL is a visual novel. Reading and dialogue carry the story; the recurring decisions concern searching for supplies and deciding who receives provisions.
Search destinations affect what Jonah brings back. Allocation decides who benefits from what remains. Think about those as connected decisions: a useful find only helps if it is still available when you need it.

Provisions and fatigue — mechanical spoilersRead at your own pace.
In SITE BURIAL 1.81, both survivors have a fatigue value. Days increase fatigue, while a provision reduces the recipient’s fatigue by one. Morning checks on Days 3, 4, and 5 can lead to an ending when a character reaches four.
The protagonist’s check happens first. If both characters meet the threshold, Ending 1 takes priority. Some provisions are consumed by story events before allocation, so the amount found and the amount available later can differ.

Searching the damaged Institute.
Jonah’s searches bring the wider setting into SITE BURIAL without taking you away from the injured protagonist. The places he can reach change as the days pass.
